I usually like to keep DessertBuzz focused on New York but this news was just too big. Maine’s Kennebec Journal reports that Maine’s legislature is poised to make the whoopie pie the official state dessert. Seems like a reasonable idea to me whoopie pies are crowd pleasers even if Jacques Torres never heard of them–but hold on!
The Journal continues: ”On Monday, at a hearing before the Legislature’s State and Local Government Committee, Rep.
