More from Chelsea French Triangle Market: A really good pain au chocolat

Wave Hill Breads pain au chocolat

When I was visiting Chelsea’s French Triangle Market in search of caneles I also discovered a very good bakery based in Norwalk CT.  Wave Hill Breads had a selection of excellent tasting artisanal breads as well as a few pastries.  I tried their Pain Au Chocolat and thought it was excellent–not too buttery and with a nice high quality chocolate inside.  Check their website to see what NYC markets they will be attending.

Superb pain au chocolat from Runner Stone (Smorasburgh)

Runner Stone had some beautiful looking Pain Au Chocolats at Smorgasburg.

Pain D'Avignon pain au chocolat

Pain D’Avignon now in the Plaza Food Hall sells incredible pain Au Chocolat.

Chiboust Bakery Pain Au Chocolat $3.00 (Tarrytown, NY)

Wave Hill Breads is located at 30 High Street, Norwalk CT.  Their website is here.
